Spanning entertainment's biggest hits to America's money, Garrett's creative fingerprints are visible across popular culture. Topping 8,300+ entries, his coin idea honoring John Muir in Yosemite Valley became half a billion California State Quarters as part of the U.S. Mint's 50 State Quarters program. His insights on focusing imagination for maximum value are featured on Public Radio's Marketplace and PBS' Between the Lines.
Before imagining a tiny piece of American history, Garrett crafted branding, movie posters, art, and packaging for Warner Bros., Disney, 20th Century Fox, Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, James Bond, Superman, Spider-Man, X-Men, Xbox, Activision, Mattel, and Nickelodeon (to name more than a few). His designs have been recognized by the Library of Congress, American Corporate Identity, Graphis, numerous design annuals, and the Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards. Most memorable are five remarkable visits to Skywalker Ranch and designing the American Humane Association's No Animals Were Harmed logo seen at the end of movies and TV shows.
