Madeline Smith, raised in New Jersey, has a southern family background and grew up on country music. Her background contributes to her country sound, which while unique, has something for everyone. At age 15, Madeline found her voice, put together a band, and started performing as a cover band. She also started picking up the guitar and soon immersed herself in songwriting. At age 16, she began working with Kent Wells in Nashville to produce her debut album.

Madeline wrote or co-wrote all the songs and released the album in the summer of 2013. She immediately took off as an artist and soon opened for Lauren Alaina and Darius Rucker.

This blue-eyed beauty is talented both vocally as well as instrumentally and lyrically, writing songs that fans relate to and enjoy. In September, 2013, Madeline released her single "State of Mind" to the UK and it immediately went to #16 on the country charts. She performed two of her originals and was a presenter at the British Country Music Awards on November 24, 2013. In 2014, Madeline released "Catchin' Fireflies" and "Stay" in the UK which went to #20 and #15, respectively. As a result, she was again asked to perform at the 2014 British Country Music Awards. She also opened for Katie Armiger in London and the Swon Brothers and Canaan Smith in the US. She has also recently been the headliner for the National Girl Scout Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah; the largest ALS (bucket challenge) walk in the nation in Philadelphia, PA; and the Kids Rock Event benefiting St. Jude in Nashville, TN. She also recently headlined the 2015 ECHL Fan Fest in Orlando, Florida and performed at their All Star Game at the Amway Center which was sponsored by Wealth by Design New Jersey. She has also partnered with One Wish Foundation and headlined their sold out show in 2014 and 2015.

Madeline is currently living and performing in Nashville, but flies in to perform in NJ, NY, PA, and MD almost every weekend with her NJ based band. Her band consists of Bob Stegman (guitar), Mark Brown (keys), Muddy Shews (bass), and Steven Jack (drums). Madeline performs acoustic sets with her guitar as well as full band performances. Madeline is continuing to immerse herself in song-writing, guitar, and piano. She just released her sophomore album "New Beginnings" which is getting rave reviews. She loves what she is doing and thanks God every day for the opportunities she has been given.
