Rowdy retired at 34 after creating his first company Coastline Communications and then realized, one can only play so much golf, so he set out to achieve new goals. He was headhunted to become CEO of Seagulls RLFC, the oldest provincial rugby league club in Australia, taking it from almost bankrupt, to multimillion dollar profits in just a few years. After that success, he has created five more successful companies: Creating Synergy, Top End Mentoring, Healthy Business Network, Play a Bigger Game, and Business Excellence. Rowdy has set foot on all seven continents, climbed the world's highest freestanding mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro, kayaked in Antarctica, tracked gorillas in Rwanda, spent time with the Maasai warriors on the Serengeti and the Tribal elders of the world's oldest culture in Arnhem Land. He has played professional rugby, run marathons, and helped people break world records for the longest continuous water ski record and the longest continuous webcast.

Rowdy's book, Play a Bigger Game, has been published in seven different countries. He has contributed to several other books including Motivational Millionaires, Secrets of Top Business Builders, Leadership Secrets, IDEAS original thoughts on life and business, and How to Start a Business with Little or No Cash. He writes regularly for CEO Magazine, My Business, newspapers, and appears on radio and television.
